Tunisian parliament remains suspended

Tunisian Parliament has been suspended by Saied Kais the President. Tunisian President Kais Saied has suspended parliament and sacked Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi a month ago.

 

Some Minority Parties are demanding an end to what they say is a coup by the president of Tunisia Saied Kais.

 

There were several protests in Tunis when the president sacked the prime minister and suspended parliament.

Lots of People have taken to the streets to protests. The suspension of Parliament and Sacking of the prime minister was based on a political crisis and lots of protest in the country.

 

This has been described as a coup by the Speaker. The President said he will be in charge till a new prime minister is elected.

Thousands of people have taken to the street to celebrate the suspension of parliament and the sacking of the prime minister.
