Introduction: What is The Lamborghini Urus and What Makes it So Special?
In addition to their earlier design, the Lamborghini Urus is a new mid-size luxury SUV from Italian supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini. It has created excitement because it is not like their other vehicle designs. Their first four models include Miura (1966), Countach (1974), Diablo (1990), and Murcielago (2001).
The model that followed those were two sports cars: Gallardo (2003) and Aventador (2011). In 2018 they released their newest car which is an SUV called The Urus. This 5-liter twin-turbo V8 can reach 62 mph in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph.
The price starts at $200,000 for its base version. They will be releasing a more luxurious version for $300,000 later on down the road.
Surprisingly enough there are only 300 vehicles being made each year until 2020 when production will increase to 500 per year until 2022 when production will stop completely.
They have stated that they don’t want too many people driving them so they can maintain their exclusivity but it also might be due to safety reasons as well since there aren’t any airbags or even seat belts in most of these cars yet either.
But if you do get one before production stops then you’ll be able to join an elite group of individuals who own what could very well become one of the most valuable vehicles ever made!
How Do I Get My Hands on a Lamborghini Urus? : So now that we know what all makes up The Lamborghini Urus, how do we go about getting our hands on one? Well first off, there is no need to worry about prices increasing because they won’t be going up anytime soon.
There are still more than 200 models available for sale right now! In fact, if you’re lucky enough to live in Italy then you’re already halfway done because The Italian government has placed a ban on all non-electric vehicles so expect other countries to follow suit in the near future. You may not be able to drive your car just yet but at least your money is safe for now!

The car’s top speed is listed at 187 mph. For those who want a more thrilling driving experience, there are two exterior packages available with carbon fiber reinforced plastic called Carbon Black or Night Edition. Each package will add 100 pounds to your Urus but they also come with 20 or 30 more horsepower, respectively.
There are five paint colors you can choose from including Arancio Borealis, Bianco Monocerus, Rosso Bia, Grigio Thalasso, and Nereido Blu.
Interior options include leather seats in black or beige with contrast stitching in either red or blue depending on which color you choose for your exterior body panels.

In terms of storage space, it has a total capacity of 16 cubic feet behind its second-row seat and 39 cubic feet behind its third-row seat when both are folded down flat into their floor wells.
The Lamborghini Urus is one of the most anticipated cars of 2022. What makes it so special? It is a top-of-the-line model from Automobili Lamborghini SpA, with a vehicle type code named P700 N1 (Vuitton), featuring an all-wheel-drive system that has a total output of 650 horsepower.
It will come in two different wheelbase sizes depending on how many seats you need; long wheelbase or short wheelbase. The short wheelbase model has only two seats available and no third row.
Should You Buy a New or Used Lamborghini?
If you have $220,000, it might be time to consider buying your very own Lamborghini Urus. The question remains, should you buy a new or used one? To determine whether or not you should buy a new or used Urus, first consider your personal situation.
If you’re in need of money for emergencies or other bills, then buying a used car may be better since you won’t be spending nearly as much. Buying a used car could also save some money on registration fees and vehicle sales tax because they may apply only if you’re purchasing a brand-new car.
If you can afford to splurge, however, there are several benefits that come with buying a new Lamborghini Urus. For example, owning a brand-new car means that you can customize its features according to your needs and preferences something that is generally impossible with used cars.
You will also likely get more miles per gallon from a newer model than an older one. Additionally, many dealerships offer financing options when purchasing new cars something that isn’t always available when buying used vehicles.
Whether you choose to buy new or used will depend on your individual financial situation; however, regardless of which option you choose, it is important to remember that both types of vehicles are high quality and well worth the price tag attached!
Engine & Performance
The heart of any car is, naturally, its engine. That’s doubly true for a car that has been completely redesigned from its predecessor.
The Lamborghini Urus’ engine is a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged gasoline unit capable of producing 641 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque (79% more than its predecessor).
When combined with AWD drivetrain components, AWD trim air suspension, and adaptive shock absorbers at all four corners, these numbers mean that power can be sent where it’s needed in milliseconds which is what makes all those speeds stats possible in the first place!
With an optional upgrade to carbon-ceramic brakes, you’ll have even more stopping power on tap when you need it most. Oh, and if you’re wondering about fuel economy.
This is not your average SUV. You’ll get about 15 mpg city / 22 mpg highway / 17 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive or 17/22/18 with AWD. For something that can go from 0-60 in just 3 seconds, this is surprisingly not bad! It’s all true, no word of a lie! zero to sixty miles per hour in three seconds.
But use it to your heart’s content, because I can’t imagine you ever grow tired of pressing that accelerator pedal.
2022 Price & Release Date
While we don’t have a release date for The Urus, given that it was announced in 2017, we can likely expect it before December 31st, 2022.
Our research has told us that pricing for 2019 starts at $175,000 USD. There will also be special edition models available but these will likely cost significantly more than regular models.
As an example in 2016, they made a Super Veloce a very limited edition that cost $500,000 USD. This is over 3 times as much as a standard model! Given that The Lamborghini Urus is expected to be one of their most popular vehicles ever released, we can probably expect prices to be well over $200,000 USD when first released. How Much Does a New Lambo Urus Cost?
The base model, which has a 453-horsepower V8 engine, starts at $200,000. For that price, you’ll get 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery, and heated seats. If you want more power or if you can afford it—there are higher trims available with horsepower ratings from 602 to 750.
While prices for these models are still being finalized, we do know that an extra $17,000 will get you better handling with sportier suspension in some cases.
And if you have your heart set on all-wheel-drive (as most people do), expect to spend about $4,000 more than that. Still worth it? Absolutely. (And note: Add another zero for Maserati’s version.)
For now, though, let’s talk about what many prospective buyers are wondering: Will I be able to find one of these new cars? By our count, there were 14 dealerships scheduled to sell Uruses by early September 2022 and several carmakers announced they would begin producing them soon after.
