Serious meningitis outbreak in D.R Congo
The Democratic Republic of Congo is finding it hard to curb the spread of meningitis. Two months ago the Congolese government declared it an epidemic and needs to be taken seriously.

Several people in Congo have been admitted at the hospitals with a sign of been infected with meningitis. There is a serious meningitis outbreak in the country.
Meningitis is a deadly disease, therefore, has to be treated with urgent care. People who are infected with meningitis are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Most government hospitals in congo lack adequate infrastructures and equipment. Meningitis has killed over 200 people in the northeastern region.
