Sam George: Church Leaders Presents a bill in parliament
Ghana’s Chuch leaders present a bill in parliament to support a bill parliament laid in the house. According to Sam Dzata George, he had a phone call from the General Secretary of Pentecost.

He said that the secretary of Pentecost called to inform him that a number of church leaders are going to be in parliament to present a memo in support of a bill they laid before parliament.

The Church leaders were led by the church of Pentecost, The Methodist Church Ghana, The Apostolic Church Ghana, The Christian Council of Ghana, The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Church, The National Association of Charismatic and Christian churches.
They were in Parliament today to present about 15 memos with Over 15,000 signatories. The Ashiaman Muslim Community, The Catholic Bishops Conference, the Assemblies of God Ghana, and the Islamic council of Ghana had all sent memos backing the bill against LBGTQ+.
Sam George says that lots of memos have also come from across the world in support of the bill and is also looking forward to stakeholders’ engagements and a subsequent debate in parliament.
Sam George the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency has been pushing for this bill to be passed by parliament.
