The Engine
Once you’ve chosen between three levels of engine, there are four different fuel types to choose from. The entry-level model is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 300 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque.

The next step up includes a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that will push out 474 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there’s an all-new 449 horsepower twin-turbo V8 at 616-pound feet of torque in the top tier McLaren Super Series model the first 8-cylinder ever in a car from Woking.

All engines are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. All models come standard with carbon-ceramic brakes and Pirelli P Zero tires. An automatic braking system comes standard on every model as well.

As for style, you can opt for several new body colors including Amethyst Black and Silica White. Inside, buyers can choose between five different leather combinations including Black/Alcantara or Chestnut/Alcantara combination interior packages or a premium-leather interior finished in Saddle Tan or Light Grey.

Buyers can also order unique Alcantara finishes for the seat belts and door panels. A pair of rear seats can be added for $3200 if you need extra space for kids or friends or even luggage when traveling abroad.

No matter which trims level you choose, it all comes together with outstanding build quality and materials inside and out.

While some might find fault with some of its styling details, no one can argue that it looks like nothing else is on sale today.

It has its own design language one built around performance and usability instead of simple aesthetics. If your goal is to stand out in a crowd then it doesn’t get much better than a 650S Spider and we haven’t even gotten into what’s under its skin yet.

There’s more technology per square inch here than any other supercar available today. You have a choice of two driving modes: Normal and Sport. In Sport mode, throttle response is sharper, gear changes quicker, and steering becomes more direct.

On the other hand, Normal mode softens throttle response slightly while improving ride comfort by reducing pitch and roll during cornering maneuvers.

Either way, you go, you’ll feel connected to your car thanks to hydraulic suspension dampers that adjust themselves thousands of times per second depending on road conditions as well as speed and driver input (via G-Force sensors).

Of course, they’re adjustable via buttons on either side of your steering wheel so you can tune them based on how spirited (or not) you want to drive each day.

The Interior
The Mclaren MP4-12C has an elegant two-seat cabin featuring top-quality materials including leather with contrasting red stitching. Recaro sport seats are available as an option for additional comfort on long journeys.

The interior is spacious enough to accommodate large drivers without compromising headroom, but it may be a little tight for anyone over 6 feet tall. Like all convertibles, you’ll have to put up with some cabin noise from traffic or wind when you drive at high speeds or open up your roof.

However, most owners find that they don’t mind these minor annoyances since they can enjoy driving their Mclaren year-round.

If you’re willing to shell out extra cash, there’s also a choice of custom paint colors to give your car a unique look.

Overall, reviewers agree that inside, the Mclaren MP4-12C feels like a luxury sports car rather than just another convertible supercar.

It’s not quite as opulent as offerings from Ferrari or Lamborghini, but then again few cars are. Some even say that it beats its German rivals in terms of overall quality.

A surprising number of owners say they love how comfortable their Mclaren is to drive around town thanks to a combination of ride quality and handling that makes longer drives seem effortless.

With either powertrain (more on those later), performance should never be an issue regardless of where you go you’ll get ample acceleration and excellent handling regardless of whether you’re taking a trip across town or across the country.

While many critics expected McLaren to make big sacrifices in order to keep costs down, they were pleasantly surprised by how well finished and refined everything felt.

In short, you won’t feel like you’ve sacrificed anything by buying a Mclaren instead of one of its more expensive competitors.

That said, if you’re looking for something flashy that will turn heads everywhere you go, there are better options out there.

But if performance is what matters most to you above all else and money isn’t an object then the Mclaren MP4-12C delivers exactly what it promises: pure speed coupled with everyday usability.

This means you can drive it to work every day, take a weekend road trip with friends, and tear up local racetracks whenever you want.

There aren’t many other vehicles that offer such versatility. Few things bring as much pleasure as piloting a finely tuned machine through beautiful scenery while feeling completely in control at all times.

The McLaren MP4-12C delivers just that with gusto! And we haven’t even gotten to its truly astonishing performance yet.

The Exterior
While it’s nice to look at, it doesn’t have much in common with other sports cars. For example, where do you find a long sloping nose or sharp headlights on a Ferrari? This new supercar has a completely different exterior style.

The Mclaren features sleek curves that cut an impressive figure from any angle. Its rear-wheel-drive interior can accommodate two people comfortably as well as has optional seating for four.

The steering wheel is equipped with a few buttons to control infotainment and climate settings. A single dial on each side of the steering wheel controls gear selection.

Buttons are placed strategically around the center console so drivers don’t need to take their eyes off of traffic for very long.

If you’re looking for a comfortable car that makes driving easy, then consider purchasing one of these models today.

There are many great reasons why these vehicles are so popular among consumers worldwide. You’ll love how fun they are to drive. Also, there are plenty of colors and styles to choose from.

Is it worth the price?
A new McLaren’s sticker price is in a league of its own. It’s not unheard of for people to drop $150K or more on a car that they may drive only sparingly.

For some, it’s simply not practical; for others, it’s a reasonable expense. If you have about $1 million to spend on an exotic sports car with no practical use outside your driveway, then by all means buy one! Consider these things before pulling out your checkbook.

What are you getting?: The Mclaren 675LT Spider has been called the best driver’s car in history, so if you want to be able to say that you owned one of those, then sure go ahead and drop $1 million on it.

But what do you get for your money? The 675LT Spider is based on McLaren’s 650S Coupe model (which starts at just under $300k) but boasts a revised suspension system and upgraded aerodynamics over its predecessor.

The result is an even faster ride it can go from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and improved cornering capabilities thanks to a lower center of gravity than other models in its class.

What does all that mean? The 675LT Spider will make you feel like a professional racecar driver every time you take it out for a spin. Is it worth $1 million?: That depends on how much value you place on exclusivity.

There are currently fewer than 100 LT Spiders being made, which makes them exceedingly rare compared to other vehicles in their class.

That said, there aren’t many cars with better performance stats either so if speed is your thing, then yes, dropping seven figures on an exotic sports car like the Mclaren 675LT Spider might just be worth it after all. Just don’t expect any discounts when buying one you’ll likely have to pay the full retail price.

And remember, when you’re ready to sell your vehicle down the road, consider listing it to a car dealer.
