Ghana’s Population Now 30.8 million
Ghana’s Population Now 30.8 million says by Ghana statistical service(GSS). The provisional results show that Ghana’s population has gone up by 6.1 million since 2010 when the population was around 24.7 million.
The Ghana statistical service has announced today(Wednesday) that provisional and housing censuses indicate that the country’s population is now 30.8 million.
Professor Samuel Kobina Annim Government Statistician said that the provisional results show that The Country’s population has gone up by 6.1 million.
The Government Statistician Professor Annim said that females are more than males in Ghana.
Post enumeration survey is ongoing for people who were not counted. The Country population has grown by 6.1 compared to 2010.
Women now dominating with 50.7% and men 49.3%.
