Ban on ‘Aboboyaa’ efficacious from 1st November

The Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central Hon. Henry Quartey has revealed that the Ban of Aboboyaa on our Major roads will be efficacious from 1st November.

 

The Minority in parliament has also said that the regional minister has no power to ban tricycles on our Major Roads.

On the 1st November tricycles will be banned from using the highways mainly Accra-Tema motorway. Several People have endorsed the ban on tricycles on our highways.

He revealed that most tricycle riders don’t have documents and have cautioned all tricycle owners to get the right documents.

The Ghana Highways Authority has also backed the ban of ‘aboboyaa’ on our major roads.
